LEFTY SPLAKE

Lefty started as my attempt to recreate a friend’s splake. Somewhere between the canvas and the paint, he started looking a little more like a brook trout. But that’s the beauty of art—and probably why I don’t paint for accuracy.

Splake? Brookie? You decide.
